Sire:  RF's Mr Dithers

Dam:   HM's Divinity

DeOro is a grandson of Mack on his dam's side.  He has one small spot, but he managed to get some very good genes line up.  I trimmed him at about three weeks overdue, and he didn't have second growth coming in, and just lovely color, and decent density.   His last shearing, he produced lovely texture.  This shearing he produced 10 oz  of fiber, but  it was just a little too soft for my taste.   I wonder if it was the change in feed.    Still no second growth though.    He was born in May of 2009.  Sadly I have to let him go.  I have too many bucks, and I have his sister, Camille, who has no spots, and I have her kits I want to keep.  I have to limit myself on how many from each line.      $70 with pedigree

Harvest Moon's DeOro

99% German / 1% French

Sire: BF's Zodiac

Dam:  HM's Isabell IR

A_ B_ Cchd D_ E_

This is my first chinchilla doe, and she's a beauty.   She has a white left front foot.  She produces loads of lovely German quality fiber, I will have more details soon, as she is due for a trim at the end of the month.   Born the summer of '09, she is a proven doe (the litter is all reserved).    Her sire Zodiac is a gorgeous, prolific, and rugged four year old chinchilla buck, that I am very happy to have here.   Her dam Isabell produced over 1 pound of prime angora alone for registration.     As did three of her sisters: Stellaluna, Esperanza, and Esmeralda.     $90 with pedigree

Harvest Moon's Bellatrix

Angora Bunnies for Sale  (under nine months old)

I am now accepting reservations for these litters.  See rabbitry page for news of other upcoming litters.

Prices:  Generally colored hybrids are priced according to their German percentage, coloring, whether or not they have any characteristics obviously disqualifying them from registration, and the registration status of their parents.   Many of my hybrid kits can be expected to produce registerable wool weights, or close to it.    Colored kits with spots, or kits with other DQ's are available without pedigrees for a discount, and REW hybrid kits are generally priced as pets at $50 (with some exceptions).  The kits with DQ's generally produce as well or sometimes better as the other kits, but cannot be registered.   Please let me know the specifics of what you are looking for.  This will help me make sure you are getting a bunny with characteristics that are a good match for your needs.

Symphony kindled her first litter the first week in April.   She got overzealous while cleaning the nest and one baby lost two half-ears and one lost one half-ear.   Both are bucks, and will be slightly discounted due to their unregisterable status.  Very sweet, very consistent litter.
